流动安全护卫队

The CARES Department provides a mobile escort service available to the entire college community. This phone service is available anytime you are uncomfortable walking from one point to another.
你可以打电话 212-854-3362 from your cell phone and a CARES staff member will stay on the line with you while you walk to your destination. 

If a crime does occur on-campus, call 社区安全 immediately at 212-854-6666.  
For off-campus students, call 911 immediately.  The CARES Department seeks to support victims of crime or other adverse experiences and provides appropriate referrals to on-campus and local community resources. 

Evening Ride Share On Demand

Barnard has joined 哥伦比亚大学 in offering the Via ride share service using an on-demand app-based system. 请 click here to see the most updated availability of Via. This point-to-point service is a limited shared ride within a geo-fenced区域 of the Morningside and Manhattanville area and may be especially helpful for students living on or close to campus. 

Using the Via app is the easiest and most effective way to coordinate a ride, but if you cannot use the Via app, you can also call for a ride. Whether you use the Via app or call, you will need to first get a promo code before you request your first ride. 请 click here for more details about specific hours of operation.
